Visitors from Brussels

The Ares is a small very recently refurbished hotel. It is situated in a quiet, yet convenient area of Paris.
Our room was comfortable and very pleasing to the eye. There were one or two teething problems due to the fact that the hotel has recently been decorated so there was no mirror near the hairdryer. One would expect these to be dealt with in the near future.
The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
Visitors would be well advised to pay the extra for a larger room. Like many city hotels, the Ares has rather small rooms.
We did not eat breakfast in the hotel because there are numerous cafes in the local area.
All in all an excellent base for a break in Paris.
