Hotel Ares

We have stayed in this hotel twice - once a year ago and once recently after redecoration which I must say I think is tasteful in a typical Parisian chic way! The bathrooms are very good too and I have never been in one decorated by Versace before. 
The staff are helpful and friendly if talked to. The area is both good and quiet which I prefer.
It is in a good situation for sightseeing. Especially if you like the Eiffel Tower lighted up at night which I do.
The only criticisms I have are the price of breakfast at 15E when it can be obtained for 8E at a local cafe and the special rates which could be better. But they do say you get what you pay for and if you prefer small is beautiful which I do then this hotel is perfect in most respects.
